F1 Arrows V10 pistons - what to do with / where to sell?

Bit of a random thread by I have got hold of a load of pistons. ( enough for a few engines worth.

They are Mahle pistons and are for an Brian Hart / Arrows F1 V10 engine. Brand new and unused.

They are forged aluminium and will suit 90.9 Diameter.

They are really nice things to look at but surely they can be used for more than just a paperweight.

They have kind of been passed on to me and origionally were bought as part of a lot many years ago at a motorsport / liquidation auction.

I have got a few in my house which are being used for paperweights but considering the thousands of pounds that went into the design and production of these pistons I feel I should do something more with them...

Anyone have any suggestions as to where I might be able to sell them... I'm sure they are worth a lot of money to the right person ( ie someone building a very special V10...)

surely there are f1 V10s racing in a series like BOSS?!? there might even be one or two in the british hillclimb championship. i would do a bit of careful googling before selling them on ebay as you are more likely to get more from them from a racer than a person wanting a posh paperweight.

Cheers, have spoken to someone who runs a Boss Arrows car and unfortuately it looks like they dont run the V10's any more....will continue to research though!

Do have any kind of paperwork with them?

I'm not sure that anyone would want pistons of an unknown source in their engine...

Just discovered this thread while googling Hart/Arrows V-10s!
I've got a complete 1998 Hart/Arrows V10 bottom end.

I've no idea what I will do with it (needs at least: front cover, pumps, throttle, injection & electronic systems to make it run), but if your pistons are from this type of engine it would be nice to have some spares.

Trackday MINI or Chimaera V10?

we had a merc/mclaren v10 on load of a while, and did measure it up. It would have fit nicely in the tasmin so the tuscan racer or a chim would be no problem. the thing was also unbelivable light.
