Colours

[chassis 33]

Right chaps what colours are you going to be running, I dont want my respray to clash when I eventually get out on track this year, especially the Class C guys

Sam Head - ?
Pete Reeve - Black with yellow bits
Mark Freeman - Light blue
Jes Bunce - Red
Mickey Holden - Black
Colm Grant - ?
Kevan Gore - Dark Blue

Are they correct?

No respray in 2007 for Hugh's Tuscan (no 3) so his car is still yellow at the front and 2/3 of the side and red at the back!

Andy has been unmerciful in his micky taking about my need for a spoiler, it would look great!

I spoke to andy about it last week. I will get one but i dont want to draw to much attention to start with!

I'm thinking Lotus Chrome Orange or similar for the Chim, with silver and black detailing...kinda as per the website.

Keep it simple boys. If you put a sodding great wing on the back you end up with understeer. To combat this you then need a proper working front splitter. Then you have less airflow to the brakes and need to duct to them. And you might have engine cooling problems. Then you take too much kerb and break the splitter....

Maybe its something to add next year?

Colm Grant's race car has been painted white. The mighty Thorpedo is still Black although we have had some troble with the paint bubbling round the afterburner exit

I was thinking about that. Good advice! Afterall understeer was invented by the devil.

Agreed, good advice, I don't need to heap another fortune into brakes and ducting and looking a nob with my spoilers and vents as I lurk around the back of the field with my novice square giving it all away.............how about a little lip spoiler?

Yea could look good. Im really nervous that the cerb just isnt going to be quick enough!! I do have a 4.5 lump at my disposal now if i need to though...
