It is happening and there maybe a 3rd race this year. They are on different weekends to the britsports races.
VdeV will be in place properly for 2008 with races between 4 and 8 hours at the UK's top curcuits.

The VdeV in europe is run to perfection and i really hope that the UK can have an equally well run series.

I can't see anything about it on the MSV calendars?
It is certainly reported in both MN & Autosport as definately happening. The Sports 2000 co-ordinator is quoted as being in favour as it gives Sports 2000 cars another place to race and for owners to share cars, whilst the EERC don't seem to think that it will be succesful as they think that the cars are not there to support it.

Which is rubbish as a fare number of european drivers have shown interest in taking part.
I think you will also see an increased number of CN cars sold to join the event.
Britsports is all over the place and you never get a straight answer to anything when asked.
An invoice seems an impossability at the moment.
But 2007 is a Britsports year and not a vdev year for the UK so fingers crossed there will be some great racing.

Looking forward to this series, especially if they do the 6hr format! Real endurance racing was always very popular in the GpC days and I dont see any reason for that to have changed, there just aren't enough organisers willing to take the "risk" of running long events in favour of the same old sprint format. IMHO.
