Watching that really does make you realise how far downhill the BTCC has gone these days. It's such a shame as I loved the Cleland battles in the Cavalier and Vectra.

Totaly agree 1996, proper fast cars, great induction noise and best of all lots of proper professional drivers for whom performing was about keeping thier job, not as it is these days about keeping dad happy. judge

no v8's though. Rewind to 87 and the Hedgitts benefit year....

We had Rovers and a Holden...

Still, I'm biased, I like 'that' sort of 16v engine more.

But I do agree, proper touring cars, unlike the crash adjusted shopping trolleys we have now.
