Rimstock Wheels
Discussion
Ordered some Team Dynamics (Rimstock) wheels and they seem to have drilled them the wrong size. Ordered 108PCD and they have drilled 100 on two of them. I need to move quickly now to stand any chance of competing in any of the events I have entered for April, even May seems quite close as these took more than a Month to arrive Plainly the entry for next weekend is a lost cause..
Does anybody have experience of how well they respond to problems ? I have to decide Monday morning when they turn up for work whether to stick with them and hope they sort it quickly, or order a set from another company and seek a refund.

Obviously as you say my contract is with the retailer, who presumably buys a fair quantity from them. The problem is working out how to get the retailer to put pressure on the supplier. The retailer is a chain and the “lad” from the store is unlikely to have any clout.
My question really is have any of you needed TD to sort a problem and how did they respond. That is the info I need to decide if I need to order from another supplier. TD said on the phone that they have no blanks in stock to make replacements.

Hi Nick
Same place as the pic on your profile. Got lucky in the test day ballot and if all goes according to plan hope to optimise the camber for and scrub in the new slicks ready to have a go at least one of the Datsuns and the red E type.
If the plan comes good then TD will have made a considerable effort to sort out the problem which will be much appreciated. It may help slightly that the guy I have been talking too also competes in a TVR.

Entered the Saturday in April - family anniversary on the Sunday. Good luck with the test day, I did consider putting my name down, but none of the bits I need to test are on the car yet...
It's being painted this week, though, so I'm getting closer.
I'm sticking with List 1b tyres - and probably the ones that are still on the car - while the bank balance recovers from the crash repair, but there's a heavier ARB on the way which should let me run with a lot less front shock for sharper turn-in.
I also discovered over the winter that I ran all last year with 1.5 degrees of negative camber on the nearside and 2.5 degrees on the offside, so I have to decide which side to change...
