Just been watching it too
The Mexico City track is still a rough old place too. No sign of any snakes slithering across the track this time though
The last time Superbikes were there in 1993, there was a cobra was on the track, one bike ran over it, it reared up and almost got the next rider along. I think they called it quits in Mexico after that and a few stray pickup trucks wandered onto the circuit.

Poor old Robbie Kerr looked distruaght! Well done Oliver Jarvis. Great drive and now for some more please. Bet the Germans are annoyed Hulkenberg was away..But they were racing on the same circuit layout they used to last run Grand Prixs on in the 1980's and early 90's, that means the full Peraltada (albeit with no inside view round the corner thanks to the stadium). Not the dodgy Nascar or Champ Car layouts and only slightly different to the 1960's layout where the likes of Clark, Surtees and Hill won. Turn one back then being a sweeping right hander into a tight left and the hairpin at the end of the next sequence being a bit further up the track and a full tight 180, not the double apex wide hairpin it is today.
