So what’s the situation with the TV then

Although I have not been reading every thread on here so I may have missed it what is the crack with the TV people this year. Are they filming us or not? I could do with a answer as I am sure we all could because I don’t want to go telling potential sponsors yes you can see us on sky if they wont be able to. So guys tell me please

One other question what about stickers are they the same this year??

Not sure Richard - I spoke to John Reid at the end of last week and asked him about the series sponsorship & TV because we had held a full page for him in Sprint Magazine.

Unfortunately to date he had nothing to report - so unless sonething has occurred over the past 48 hours, to date we have no TV.

spoke to JR earlier he has nothing new to report , we will be running with the same sun strips as last year at the moment,anyone got a friday afternoon test session they will not be able to use 07866620011 thanks tony

Forgive my ignorance but why are we still running with there stickers if they are not funding our TV coverage. Or have I got this wrong, who did pay for the TV last year. It would be interesting to know exactly who gives us what not least so that we can support and promote those who are kind enough to support us.

My understanding of it is that the Royal Purple monies paid for the TV, and Dunlop get their names on there for giving us all a hansom discount for buying our tyres direct from the Dunlop support truck that attends the rounds.

yes you did the 165 plus vat was the discount rate. The GT/britcar lot were paying 190

same deal this year 170sh and 199

But anyone can ring up and get those prices you never gat asked if you are in the Tuscan challenge. You can also buy them off that place in Towcester at those prices

When I called HP tyres this year I was Quoted the 199+vat, I queried that and he checked and got back to me with the lower price... for the tuscans, but even then only in the original tuscan 250/640 size for the bigger rears its GT Price.

If you go direct to dunlop they only sell them at the 199, which is a pita as they are close to us...

John Reid will advise entrants by e-mail if the Dunlop truck will be at the circuit or not.

We have already been told that there will not be a truck at Mallory next Monday.
