Oulton Last October

Hopefully someone can remember back...

Just been watching my onboard camera from last October, just after the formation lap one of the marshals checks under the front of my car then declares everything OK to another marshal. Does anyone know what he was checking, I seem to remember it being curious at the time, but never found out what it was. Did anyone hear anything from the pitwall or the like?

I'm half guessing they were checking to see what was dangling down (tow strap was a bit), cos the car was water and oil tight by then.

Surely as it was the weekend he was wearing his slingbacks, so there wouldn't have been a toe strap.
