Was that Burton or Wilcox driving? Burton's my boss, some ribbing may be in order!!
That was Phil. Adam had taken the first stint. It was a real shame though since they had both been driving a storming race and had managed to overtake Hector in the other 430. From what I gathered though, it wasn't his fault. One of the Astons nudged him off, so go easy on the guy

I did notice they've been getting closer to the pace. Considering some of the parts for the car only arrived last week and the problems
they had during the races it's a great set of results. Anyway, that bump doesn't get near the Snetterton catapult he managed in the 360 a few seasons ago, so nil points.

Closer to the pace? Yep, I'd say so!. Adam shadowed Tim Mullen all the way through his stint. It was like there was an invisible bungy cord between them but he just didn't have the pace to get past. Both cars must have been very evenly matched. It made for some very entertaining racing.
yip, was down there for last years Gold Cup. great final tussle in the last weekend of that meeting between a (origonal) TVR Giffith and Lotus Elan - Griff had the straight line speed, Elan, the cornering finess...
oh and the great sight of an Imp drfting round Shell on sodden track, with only the camber of the track at that point holding him on
