After an exciting (if cold!) inaugural event at Brands Hatch last month, we're now looking forward to round 2 at Snetterton on Sun 22nd April. We've got 36+ cars on the grid so should be a cracking day's racing, fingers crossed for some nice warm weather!

Only a couple more days for Lotus enthusiasts to order discounted (half price @ £6 each) tickets from the LoTRDC web site:
www.lotrdc.com/LoTRDC/Round_2_Snetterton
Tickets will be posted on 16th April along with an Elise Trophy sticker, which will be used as a parking pass at Snetterton.

Guaranteed the largest ever Elise gathering in East Anglia outside of the factory gates!

General ticket purchases can be made via the Motorsport Vision website:
www.motorsportvision.co.uk/snetterton/events/event-details.asp?ProductID=3212
£10 in advance or £12 on the day at Snetterton.

For further details on the Elise Trophy (calendar, race reports, driver profiles etc), or to sign up for the regular newsletter, please check out the LoTRDC web site:

was this the race on sky sports the other day? looked great fun and a real mixed bag of elise derivartives but i couldnt understand the handicap system at first. seemed to work for the drivers as the exiges and hot elises had to work to get up the field.

Coverage from the Brands Hatch races has been on Motors TV over the last few days.
Agree the handicap race was a little confusing, but was the first time we had run that format and in the end 2nd to 27th finished within 40secs of each other, so the handicappers were pretty much spot on.
Will work much better (and be clearer for commentators & spectators) as we run more races on longer circuits I reckon.

A public version of the Race Television (www.race.tv) Brands hatch coverage is now available:
