Button still dominating his team mate!

He proved in 2005 and parts of 2006 that when the car is under him he is as fast as anyone, put him in the McLaren and he would be on pole, the man is seriously smooth and incredibly talented, just crap at making career decisions, he should have gone to Williams, Honda really have lost the plot, no wonder he is downhearted, he can see his career slipping away!

its not like, if he had gone for success it would be at the expence of cash( and birds) one goes hand ain hand with the other.
He went to renault simply because there was a drive for him, dont forget he was a bit of a punt for Frank Williams. dispite doing ok for williams they binned him in favour of montoya who was hit and miss at best( where is he now, and also never won the F1 championship)
Renault was probably the highest profile team he would get as a still unproven "punt" but he was never going to win in that car.
BAR was probably a sidways move after renault and they loked crap from day 1 even with vielneauve( however you spell it) williams looked very much mid table runners when he was due for the switch. Honda did make steps forward in the season before and looked at least as good if not a better bet than williams so went for the safest seeming option, ( remember he had to PAY WILLIAMS to be released from the contract, and they subsequently said they would still have him back)
so where are these moves for the money you talk about??
first and foremost a racer wants to win. even me in my old sh*tbag, I want and believe every round that I could win!! Button believed / knew that his best chance for success was in the car he chose to drive. remember when he was due to move to williams every man and his dog said that he would be plain mad to leave honda for williams at that time, and lets face it williams havn't exactly won much in recent years, proving that if nothing else it was not a decision that he is ever going to rue!
buttons problem similar to Martin Brundel has been that he has always been in the right car at the wrong time. if there had ever been a chance of a ferrari or mclaren drive he would be champion allready.
