Shame I missed it at Snetterton.
Well done to Porche 935 Replica, see you made the fastest lap. I would love to have seen the race. Your car is certainly a flyer.
What happened?

I don't think we had the fastest race lap although our qualifying lap was the fastest of the weekend.
The race went to plan until about 45 minutes when the engine picked up a misfire. This was just after the second safety car period and was probably caused by the slow pace behind the safety car. We were travelling so slowly the engine cooled right down and ran on its warm up cycle! However, we spent ages trying to sort the misfire to no avail and as a last resort we replaced the plugs. I doubted it would work but it did. The car ran faultlessly to the end but by then we had lost 35 or so minutes so we were nowhere - again.
Prehaps I will change plugs more reguraly but they are quite costly - maybe NGK can give them to me!
Cheers and roll on Oulton; our luck must change soon.
Richard.

Sorry to hear about your plugs, must be painful. You certainly are one of the more exiting cars to watch, apart from the Marcos LM600 that is. I hope your luck changes too so that you can really show what the car can do. Good luck and keep up the good work.

I think a big round of applause should go to Mick, Luc and Richard for their flat out drive from at least 3 laps down to take the win by 11 seconds, well done guys! Also thanks to everyone who helped out over the weekend!

Just wanted to say the fastest lap was Done by Phil Bennet in the V8 Opel, about 5 times. He Got 1:09. something on his last lap. Gear change problems stuffed up their win during the first pit stop

Why thank you sir! A top job by all involved. The last section of the race was just a series of near quali laps to get the time back, great job smile
