Anyone know where I can see the championship tables and standings?

I've checked type on the EERC website and can't seem to find any mention of them.

LOL

You've more chance of finding Lord Lucan!

You'll only find out who's won when James presents the winning trophy @ the last race!

Try these.
Silverstone and Snetterton

Open the pdf booklet for each event and all the results are there. The Brands round (A1GP) wasn't covered by MST, apparently, so those results aren't on their site.

Hi trackside

Thanks, but I would be interested to see the BH results too, having watched a recording on TV a couple of days back, I am still confused as to who won! Was it the ex Erdos LM 600 or the Mantis?

It was shown Monday night on Sky Sports 2 then repeated again Tue evening. No race 2 coverage though, just race 1 ............

As had been widely discussed on other threads, the Brands results were collated by the Spanish timekeepers contracted by AIGP, and, whilst they timed the support races, they intimated to me that they were not retaining the information.

The court date is June 5th for the hearing on race 1 brands,I would think topcat will win the appeal as no one from my team will be attending ,Motorsport is a hobby for me i don't really want to go to court over it,I am just looking forward to the next race.

A staggering comment.

Pity for all drivers, teams and fans alike that the initial result was appealed on the day and that the team taking the chequered flag first didn't "win" the race.

(This is a personal view and may not represent the views of my team)

?? sour grapes?? I think this has been dragged out of all proportion. As a sports fan I like to see exitment in a race. If a flat out sprint to the finish saw a winner, or the leader took a spin and someone else took the flag then that is racing and adds to the exitment of the race, this is just making an already poorly run event even more tragic. I am sure that if the roles had been reversed and the car that said they won were the ones to call into the pits at that moment this would still have happened. Could they honestly say they would not have appealed. I doubt it very much. This is certainly not a pity. The only pity is that fantastical comments like this one keep appearing. Shame!

kaz9827 were you there in the clerk of the course office on the day? were you part of the meetings and the stupid back and forth over appeals, counter appeals etc?? if so what team do you work for? Andy at Jemo has been in Britcar for sometime and was there as a competitor on the day, same for me. There are no sour grapes for Andy as he gains nothing in terms of positions over this, i would suggest it's more a frustration that this happened in the first place, when it never should have!

No one is slagging Jay off for his drive, he drove a good race and the LM600 is a great car - it's fantastci to see it racing again after sitting round for so long. But the way this whole thing kicked off and the fact very basic rules in the blue book were ignored is why this has dragged on.

Would we have complained at the shorted race? that is possible, however we are 1 second short on our pitstop the following race and we took that with out question, the rules are there for everyone to read and know, the chequred flag was thrown and can be done so at the discretion of the clark of the course whether full race distance has been covered or not.

What makes me laugh is the fact that straight after the race Mick Mercer came to see me and shook my hand and said bad luck,I then told him we were going to protest the result which he replied, I would do the same thing!

When we protested and won, then came all this trouble, then we was asked to withdraw our protest for the good of the championship because we were new to britcar ,Which we did and i don't know many teams that would have done that,Before that we offered to share the win,

I don't no much more we could have done.

What i don't understand is topcat are going for the championship ,We were not scoring points at Brands so they took the winners points and they have the winners trophies too.

No,the engine needs a complete rebuild with most of the parts coming from the US ,We are waiting on the Pistons because they are hand made but we should have them by the end of next week, hopefully we will make Spa.
