Lola Open Day - National Motorsport Week
Discussion
If anyone is interested in attending a Lola factory open day on 15th August I suggest you go here..
www.nationalmotorsportweek.co.uk then NEWS
As there are limited spaces there is a question to answer. However I'm sure if you are a winner you will have a great day out!
Please keep an eye out on the National Motorsport Week website for more news and events during the week 11th - 19th August.
Thanks Ted for letting me post this

Hi
I am not sure how I am going to get there, does anybody know if there is a train station as I am coming up from Swindon, Wiltshire. But i am 16 so I dont drive so it will have to be trains and maybe a walk.

James there is a train station in Huntingdon (runs from London Kings cross) and the Lola factory is not "too" far away. and its on an industrial estate so I am pretty sure that you would be ok with train and bus (oh and maybe a little walk!)I am not sure how I am going to get there, does anybody know if there is a train station as I am coming up from Swindon, Wiltshire. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station.
Walk around the ring road and take a left at the junction opposite the Territorial pub, walk 400 yards to traffic lights before railway bridge and turn right onto St Peters road and Lola is about 500 meters up the road on the right just after Kwikfit.

* A complete circuit relay of the Lola 7-post vehicle dynamic test rig
* The fire up of a Lola Le Mans sportscar
* Interactive pit stops with theLe Mans sportscar and a chance to be photographed in a Lola sportscar cockpit.
* A rare chance to see an awesome selection of Lola cars, including a Lola T70, A1 GP car, Formula 3, the 1967 Lola T90 which was driven by Sir Jackie Stewart, Mk1 Lola (the first Lola ever built) and a sneak preview of the new for 2008 Lola B08/60 Le Mans Coupe!
* At least two Lola Le Mans drivers will be present to sign autographs and talk of their experiences at this years 24 Hours.
* A chance to see the Lola built UAV (un-manned Aerial Vehicle) spy plane!!
* An address from Lola Executive Chairman, Mr Martin Birrane
