You can't deny the guy has got a great talent, and it just so happens he's got the car to do the job.

He's still a rookie, and I'm sure a more experienced driver couldn't have done much better in the team alongside Alonso.

Talent! Mclaren were unreliable last year, or was it just the drivers pushing them too hard? Funny how neither Alonzo or Hamilton have broken a car yet.

Hamilton go his seat at mclaren through his talent and hard work, however it would be interesting to see how he would do in a midfield car like a Williams. Senna had a good record of pushing uncompetitive machinery to the front - i'd be interested to see where hamilton would be if he was running midfield machinery.

The kid's just something else... There was something truely Senna-esqu about the way he was sliding that car around in qualifiying yesterday. Granted, there was also a smigde of inexperience as well, if it wasn't for the lairy momment at Lowes and getting (only slightly) baulked by the back marker he would have firmely been on pole.

Its talent+car. I think he's quicker than Alonso in terms of raw pace 0.2s per lap.

Could Rosberg do the same in the McLaren?

Considering who is alongside him in the other Mclaren I think not a small portion would have to be attributed to driver skill, not just judging on this race alone though but the fact that he's at the very least matched Alonso overall so far this year, all bar actualy winning a race.

I remember Ralf Firman used to slide the car around too, it's not always a good thing.

Senna never had team orders to contend with like the ones we appear to have seen yesterday (not that I would personally compare Hamilton / Senna, at least not for a few years)

Nico Rosberg would be doing just as good a job of LW (yes he is damn good though).

This year with a year's experience he seems better, but as a rookie Rosberg was quite irratic with a fair few anonymous drives.
