why would a poster, presumably given out free at the event, need a certificate of authenticity? what does that add to the value and who deemed it authentic? does taht imply its not a reprint?
its not signed so i cant really see the value other than the fact that it serves as a reminder that senna and ratzenberger died at the event so £700 is a bit steep. i have never been one for memorabilia though.... somebody, somewhere, with more money than sense will buy it.

To be honest, the whole 'signed' thing has got out of hand and has lost it's value because every Tom, Dick 'n' Harry is doing it, especially with eBay being so easy to sell shite!!
I remember a letter from a motor sport fan in Autosport last year about a guy who had taken his son along to the Goodwood FOS to meet some of the drivers that his son loves. He mentioned that he was being pushed aside by grown men with A5/A4 colour photos which had been taken 'hot off the inkjet printer' so that they could get the drivers to sign and then sell on eBay that evening.
You only have to look at how many companies are jumping on the 'signed' wagon to see that these items have lost all value nowadays. If you really want a book, photo, or model signed the advantage (if you can dodge the eBayer pirates) is to taken your very own book, print or model to something like the FOS and get it signed yourself, plus it will be personalised to you and not just another signed model/book from a long list of more rip offs.
The added benefit is that you don't have to pay for the signature either
As to the original subject matter on this thread, the bigger prick will be the one who buys it!

these were the official ones posted up around the city by the FIA or bernies lot pre race etc. they were not give aways. I have one from Monza and believe me its not just a poster they are VERY high quality. that said this chap has been advertising that poster for months and months......
