Lewis Hamilton being the bees knees is great and exciting. I'm enjoying F1 more this year than I have for a long time, despite a bit of a loyalty for Honda.

What about next year. Let's assume Hamilton is established as the top driver by a long way. If he spends the whole of 2008 twenty seconds ahead of the next placed car, without the novelty of his being new, won't it all be a bit dull?

As long as there's racing and overtaking I don't care who wins either way. I just shudder to think that if it becomes a procession and teams told to "back off" with 20 laps of racing left i'll be tuning out of F1.

Yes, but I'm a much bigger fan of F1 than I am of Hamilton...

slick tyres, no tc, and reduced downforce. even without considering the drivers, it's got to get even better than it is now.

what i am enjoying is that theres alot of focusing on whats happening down the field... the battles for that 1pt is just as fearce as the battle for 10pts as is the battle not to be last...

rather than just following the leader around the track 30secs ahead.
