I used to enjoy reading woodies race repots on the EERC website but they dont seem to appear anymore. I read on an old post that he has moved to a new magazine and puts them on there but you have to be a memeber of the magazine to read them. Is there anywhere else where I can find race reports for britcar, especailly from woodie??? thanks chris

Woody has moved nowhere! He has always posted reports on Dailysportscar (since 2002), and his latest opus (Spa) can be found on the EERC website. Just click on the icon of the man quite rightly being strangled by Henry Firman.

Personally, I think his reports are rubbish, and he's stealing the enormous pay check that the EERC heap onto him every month. What he needs is a clip round the ear and a spell out in Helmand Province.

Tell you what, Chris - why not come and see me next time you're at a Britcar meeting, and I'll introduce you to Woody (if we can find him, that is), then you can tell him personally that his reports aren't the best. Maybe he'll listen to you, because, Lord knows, he never listens to me or anybody else.

Andy - he doesn't come onto Pistonheads, does he? If he does, we're all in trouble, including you, young Mr Patey.

Chris, Jemco Racing are next out at Donington, failing that we are once again at the Silverstone 24 Hours.

You are more than welcome to come into the garage and say hello - you never know, you might even meet Woody!

Chris, do you need a bigger shovel to dig yourself out of that hole you're in?

.....not worded brilliantly, eh.

.....a bit confusing - mmmmm.

In fact, it get worse, for, you see, we've been winding you up - Steve Britcar and Woody are the same person, and, whilst Steve has enjoyed this little bit of banter, his alter ego Woody (a bit like Superman, though he changes his clothes in the clerk-of-the-course office) has taken exception to this vitriolic attack on his journalistic skills.

Seriously Chris, no harm done, we've all enjoyed this, and I'm sure we'd love to see you in the paddock. Don't be a shrinking violet, make yourself known to us next time your around. In fact, come and see me (but steer clear of Woody), and I'll personally take you to meet the Pistonheads bunch. You can't miss me in the paddock - I'm the one that's either being strangled, or confusing people.

Chris, actually Steve is easy to spot, he's the one with his pants on the outside of his trousers ...
