Racing at this great Canadian circuit for the first time since 1968 at the weekend. A sort of cross between Road America, Watkins Glen and Brands Hatch. smile

Pushy Sebastien Bourdais was beaten by series rookie and part-time F1 tester Robert Doornbos much to Bourdais' displeasure accusing the Dutch driver of blocking him when he was interviewed over the circuits PA system. Cue much booing from the crowd who know all about Bourdais' rough tactics (just ask Justin Wilson how he was barged out of the way by the Frenchy for a race win). He even repeated the accusations at the post race conference.

Anyway, Doornbos tried to make up on the podium by offering his hand. I'm not sure what he said but it made Will Power laugh and Bourdais had a look that could curdle milk on his face.

So Doornbos did his best impression of the sulking Frenchman instead. laugh

biggrin

hehe Bourdais - briliant driver but serious issues with his temper; clearly been watching Kanaan and Tracy at work...and that may be the reason why F1 teams have overlooked him up to now....

IAK error, sorted. I must have been thinking of the other Red Bull backed driver Neel Jani. smile

His interview at the track at the end of the race, listen to all the booing from the crowd. Remember this is in a French part of Canada, he is a French driver and they are booing him hehe

They know him too well wink

+1
The wet/dry conditions really showed the men from the boys. Well worth catching it if it is shown again.

Love the sulking photos - no F1 Corporate posturing.
