Get more from Moore Racing at Brands Hatch
PH is holding another fan forum at Brands Hatch this weekend
PH is teaming up with Moore Racing and their Dodge Viper for the fan forum this weekend. Simply email us with ‘Dodge Viper’ in the subject line to the address given below and we’ll choose at random the seven winners who’ll each receive a pair of race day tickets and an invitation to the Moore garage.
The awesome Dodge Viper is a welcome addition to the Avon Tyres British GT Championship grid this season and the GT3 class V10 8.3 litre powered American car is certainly a crowd favourite. With a switch to GT3 as the main class, and a total of nine manufacturers represented on the 2007 entry list, the 2007 British GT Championship is the most competitive for many years.
Moore Racing has graduated from Britcar with drivers Paul Fenton and Mike Gardiner. A performance break following the opening rounds at Oulton Park has allowed the pair to run further towards the front of the field. A big crash at Donington Park in April was a set-back but they bounced back in the 2-hour race at Snetterton last month, posting a very positive 6th place overall and scoring their first championship points in Britain’s premier sportscar championship.
Mike and Paul are targeting further points scoring finishes this year, particularly on tracks with long straights and sweeping curves that suit the Viper; Thruxton will play to the Viper’s strengths as will the Grand Prix section of the Brands Hatch Circuit this weekend.
The winners of the Pistonhead’s Fan Forum Competition can come along on Sunday at 12:15 to meet Paul, Mike and the team, ask some questions and get a closer look at the Dodge Viper.
Also in a new development in the relationship between Pistonheads and the Avon Tyres British GT Championship there are two grid walk passes up for grabs which will allow the winners access to the grid in the build up to Round 7 at 13:55 on Sunday. The two PH’ers who ask the best questions at the fan forum, as judged by the drivers, will each receive a grid walk pass. So if you are a Fan Forum winner get your thinking caps on and get asking those questions.
Competition now closed
Paul actually started off in a Tasmin so there is hope for us all!!!! Mike Also did the first ever season of Tasmins ( winning it of course when it was part of the 750 Roadsports).. Im sure Mike also did the Full fat Tuscans at one point when it was in full flight as well.
Its been really great to see them develop from running a couple of tasmins to GT's including getting both of their cars to the end of the Britcar 24 last year...

Good luck to Mike, Paul and the boys for BH.
