Still struggle to understand how Matt Neal manages to punt someone off at almost every meeting and yet is never penalised.........

it is starting to happen quite regularly, though he is not alone in the punting off stakes. they all push and barge like nutters, half the spectacle ??

had to laugh when Plato of all people started whinging about how he would NEVER do something like that pre race 3, then promptly drove into Giovanardi.then claimed to Louise goodman that his mirror had been ripped off and he hadn't seen him there, as he gestures his atempted panic attempt to avoid the contact

oooooooooops thats not what the replay shows.
2 mirrors firmly in place!!!!
1 over ambitious Plato
laugh

This was race 1 smile

I have to say, stunning driving by Matt Neal, he kept at it in race 1 even though he was a lap down after the first corner incident. He then carved through the field in race 2 from 18th on the grid to 2nd, he was helped by a couple of safety car periods but even so.
He then managed another second in race 3 after Plato’s and Giovanardi’s cars collided with 3 laps to go.

Was my first BTCC race as a spectator! WOW!
Car-nage!
Are they all this good??!?! What a fight, and an awesome finish to race 3, with Plato being pipped to forth in a titanic struggle!

Just boosted my tan slightly.
They would have been nice photos but I seemed to keep getting that hideous photographer in the background which ruined most of them. smile
