This kind of thing happened to us a few years ago at Croft, when the rumour-mongerers on ten-tenths talked themselves into believing a Britsports race was cancelled, when in fact it was very much still on. Only one car turned up on raceday, and we then were forced to cancel it, having paid many thousands of pounds for the track time.
Racers who have doubts will call the office or have been told. The public, who will not be told as a matter of course, should, if they are really really serious about finding out, call or e-mail the office.
But guys, please, please, please don't bandy these rumours around - it could mean you will lose the organisation that runs your favourite championship a whole lot of money.
And remember, it is a CHAMPIONSHIP, and some win+lose rests on this weekend's results.

Thats the last thing I'd would want to happen and I'll be sure to check by email in future. I only asked because I was intending to come down on Sunday and I didn't want to have a wasted trip!
