Strange Request - Watkin's Glen

Hi All,

I'm lucky enough to have been invited to September's Zippo race weekend this year.
I hope to be a passenger in the historic reenactment of the first (I think 1930's) race there.

I would like to wear 1930's racing driver gear or maybe English toff's clothing from the period.

Does anyone know where I might be able to rent/borrow something appropriate?

Just a little thought here, but why not post this same post in the Goodwood events section too, as a lot of people in there go in costume to the revival meeting, so might either have something spare, or know somewhere you can get something from. Hope that helps.

For racer/parade, an easy look is:
- Tightish white boiler suit
- Cravate from Tie Rack
- Flying goggles
- Flying helmet probably not necessary. Bare head or flat cap reversed and held in place by the goggles.
- Instead of the cravate, consider a good shirt & bow tie.
But check with your host. Americans can be funny and might demand a helmet.
