In the regs for the 24hour, it states that during refueling "The end of the exhaust pipe must be covered with flame-resistant material." Can such an item be bought, or do you have to make one up to fit your vehicle (Integra Type R DC2).

Looking forward to my first 24hr car race.

Darren,

You've just bought the car from us......so, I guess I can answer. We made up cans last year that fit over the ends of the exhausts - although, I can't see where they are now. They might even still be on our truck.

I believe that we're sharing a garage with you, so, we'd be happy to help.

Look forward to meeting you, and seeing the car again. It came 18th overall last year & didn't miss a beat.

PM me if you want any more info.

Cheers.

Kevin,
Not Darren, but one of his co-drivers. Thanks, if you can find last years solution, that's one less thing to get sorted.

Hoping we can do the car justice :-)
