he could be a real contender if he took a Renault seat !

Renault are on the way to the middle...sorry thats where they are...back of the grid. Jenson is good, but i'm not sure he's that good anymore. I think he'll be better off at Honda if he stays long term.
Personally I reckon Fissi should go - he whines a lot but has never really stepped up to the challenge and shown what he can do (IMHO). They should keep Kovaleinen - he's done ok for a rookie year in an underpar car.
Also, from what little we hear about Renault this year, (as apparently according to ITV there are only two teams in F1 this year, but that's a whole different post...) it seems Fissi and Flavio don't always see eye to eye.
Davidson to step up perhaps?
Just my opinions on an otherwise dull Tuesday afternoon, so don't shoot me down in flames lads!!

Honda management seems to be so incompetent over the past couple of seasons I can just imagine the bizarre negotiation now: "Hi Mr Renault, we hear you're short of drivers - and we're short of about 100bhp - so how's about we swap you Jenson for a bunch of your Renault engines while we sort ourselves out!" Team Honda Renault has a certain ring about it

And why would Renault swap Fisi for the driver he outqualified in the same car about 13 times to 3 in 2001.
Renault need a driver better than Fisi, not a step back
By that logic Ferarri should dump Massa and hire Fisi.Renault need a driver better than Fisi, not a step back
I used to think Fisi was one of the top F1 drivers who would tend to perform better than he really should in midfield cars. But I think two years of being thumped by Alonso have seriously damaged his confidence and he has gone off the boil somewhat.

Couldn't agree more.As for Massa, when Ferrari signed him I thought it was a big mistake, but under Schuie's wing he has developed into a great driver and I can't help but like the guy now. If Hamilton doesn't win the championship, I hope Massa does. {stop press - woman admits she was wrong (just don't tell the other half!!}

Hamilton - the corporate Brit.
Alonso - the grumpy Spaniard.
Raikkonnen - the frosty Finn.
Massa - the chirpy Brazillian.
A win for Massa could be the best result for the sport.
