Let me run this by everyone...
Alonso is pissed with Ron D.
FIA asks all drivers to submit evidence on the understanding that the drivers will be handed an an amnesty if the team are punished.
Alonso decides to offer his information to the FIA.
Hamilton does not offer information (that he may or may not have), probably due to sense of loyalty that Alonso does not understand nor care for.
McLaren get all points removed and so does Hamilton for not offering any information (that he may or may not have).
Alonso World Champion and moves to Ferrari.
Just an idea...

I read that Alonso hasnt actually said anything.
what has happened is - the FIA approached all 3 drivers 'to make a statement' - both Alonso and De La Rosa did so as instructed (without giving any information) and Hamilton is yet to.
Then the media twist this to another 'isnt Alonso a baddy, yay we love Hamilton - those bloody Spanish, nicking our fish, driving for our race teams...'

well done that man button,
only getting things via live timeings due to sodding rugby (freeview not available in the valley so no ITV4)
Then you won't know that they didn't expect to get into the top 10 and consequently used up all their soft tyres in the earlier sessions. So he only had hard tyres for the top 10 shootout. They think they sent him out with as much fuel as needed for their strategy and hard tyres and take a 10th place grid slot.only getting things via live timeings due to sodding rugby (freeview not available in the valley so no ITV4)
Bloody hell. I've just been looking at the official F1 site with all the session times, Button's best was a 6th on Friday P1 and his best today an 8th in S2. Barrichello not far behind in both.
But.....the Hondas are the slowest things through the speed trap, Button only managed 338kph today, the slowest top speed and 11kph down on the BMW of Heidfeld and 7kph down on the McLarens/Ferrari's. After looking at the apex speeds chart they had certainly taken their brave pills this morning again as they were as always towards the top of that.
Ok they might be lacking in the engine department a bit but it seems to me it's pretty clear that the car is providing too much drag and slowing it down, even with new aero bits added this weekend.
And they certainly aren't running with much wing.

Ps. Whoops.

Much as I hate to say this JA made me smile today.
He commented that the reason the Honda's were doing so well was because they have no down force and we are at a track where every other team has no down force.
I guess those funny biplane shapes on the cars' noses are there for their good looks? He commented that the reason the Honda's were doing so well was because they have no down force and we are at a track where every other team has no down force.

This may work better
