vettels I can slightly understand, but conditions were terrible and with the shitty stop starting trick employed by LH whilst building for the restart ( I know they all do it but it should be stamped out. As leader, by all means dictate your prefered speed and go when you want, but to start then slow RIGHT down is wrong and asking for trouble, imho)
I think vettells was very unluck as was webber ( usualy don't realy care for webber but that was tough, and did MB say he had puked up in his helmet mid race too?)

but to penalise Kubila for that bump was a joke right?
ok they touched, and it was probably more his fault than LH but he overcooked it in the wet going for a move, he didn't deliberatly try and punt him off. he was wrong I think to try and keep the place, and probably would have got away with it if he had moved over for LH, but come on you have to go for it if it looks on, and it looked on, harsh i think.
look at Massa and Kubika on the last lap they were touching and even deliberatly forcing each other off the track, and no penalties... how was the RK on LH move worse than the RK and PM moves???

It sets an alarming precedent. I hate to be one of the "The FIA loves Ferarri" conspiracy theorists, but if they're going to penalise for things like that, then surely they should have penalised Massa - his driving at the end was questionable. Sure he got as good as he gave, but he fact that the FIA turned a blind eye is telling

How do you guys manage to drag Ferrari into *every* FIA ruling? Un-freaking-believable. This has bugger all to do with Ferrari, and the blue-eyed boy of the moment is certainly receiving preferrential treatment.

Needs more than that, chum ;-)

can you honestly say that if Vettel and Kubica deserve punishment for today, then Massa doesn't?

Do you really believe that you are in possession of more facts than the FIA concerning the incidents, and that your judgement in these matters is better than theirs?

Just going by what I saw buddy. I'm assuming that since you know it to be un-freaking-believable that I brought Ferarri into it, you have all the facts wink

It's a long stretch to drag Ferrari into this, let's be honest now.

I don't think it is. My issue is with the FIA, and I'm sure they do know more than me, but from what I saw I just think the red car was driving in a questionable manner, its nothing against Ferarri.

Perhaps i need to look at it again, but it looked to me like Kubica also slid wide and slid into Hamilton.

Kubica has made a lot of mistakes in his short career, including that very spectacular accident he had, perhaps they decided its time to slap him down. Not his first penalty either is it?

It was a brain dead move by Kubica trying to go up the inside there in the wet.

But didn't he get the penalty because he got going first before Hamilton and overtook him, taking advantage of the situation he caused. Just like missing out a chicane and gaining a place. If he had let Hamilton get going first or allowed him to re-pass he may have not got a drive through just a earful from the stewards after the race.

It was a wet race, the visibility was awful, the circuit was new to all drivers and there were a lot of drivers out there with little if any experience of driving an F1 car in the wet.

Add to that the fact that a lot of cars were a compromise of wet/dry setup and less than optimaly trimmed for the circuit and you're going to get some incidents. The FIA HAS to cut some slack here, otherwise they will neuter this sport even further.

IMHO none of those penalties was justified (but then, I don't think Alonso should have had an FIA penalty for his actions in Hungary, so what do I know?)

Kubica sliding into Hamilton was nothing more or less than a pure racing incident and should not have been penalised.

Are they seriously suggesting that from now on all drivers are to drive within their limit?

Kubica was racing FFS . . I know I was alarmed it affected Hamilton but there was still no need for a penalty even if Hamilton had crashed out.

The point is Kubica/Vettel should'nt have that hefty a penalty, how does it turn into another anti-Ferrari thread?

The thing that got me was 'The Cocks' reaction to the Kubica/Hamilton incident furious

Watch the replays first, Kubica was taking the inside line and was along side Hamilton when Hamilton closed the door - racing incident - end of story.

Oh no it wasn't in The Cock'c eyes - his reaction just shows what an arse licking prick he is. How dare he scream that Kubica should be brought in front of the stewards for that incident... did somwone touch your little Gimp MR Allan - get a Fecking life will you and stop kissing the ground that your Gimp walks on!!!!!

Probably be reprimanded for providing too much entertainment hehe

Pity the producer decided to cut away from it to show slowing down laps.

Why?

I thought that was probably the most exciting piece of F1 Footage for the last 10 years or more...

Is that not what we all have been screaming for????
