Hamilton's Future Career

Does Hamilton, as arguably one of the best drivers this country has produced, really need all the crap and politics of F1 flying around him?

He wants to race, and in my opinion,it is totally unacceptable for him to be used as a pawn in Ecclestones TV ratings dream. The current furore about the pace car is totally contrived. It is as if all the drivers are bit players in some giant reality TV show.You have the goodies, the baddies, the innocents, the behind-the-scenes puppetmasters - what we have is real life soap opera.

What chances he pushes off to the USA and concentrates on what he does best?

Zero chance of him going to the USA for at least 10-12 seasons unless he suffered a severe injury that forced him out of F1.

Maybe when he gets as fat as Montoya and they have to hide him in a Nascar.

At the age he is (not to mention the cars that McLaren seem to be pushing out over the last couple of seasons) he has every opportunity to equal if not eclipse the amount of titles that Schumacher won.

He's young enough with enough time ahead of him. He's more than talented enough, in terms of raw speed and aggressiveness if nothing else. And he has a team around him that want to help him win.

Besides all that, he's going to make a shit load of money over his time in F1, why wouldn't he stay there and take as much as he can, while he can?

I agree with the point about the safety car investigation from Japan, why can't the people running F1 just leave it the alone and let the drivers get on with it? It's not as if there aren't enough people already watching and reading about this crap, so what if a driver wins the championship before the last round, it happens, why can't they deal with it? Surely people who are fans of the sport (I use the term 'sport' loosely) are starting to notice that the powers that be keep interfering? Don't they?

What does that mean?

He's not Scottish, despite his Scottish name.
Stirling Moss isn't Scottish.
Ayr Town Senna wasn't Scottish.
Lewis Hamilton isn't Scottish.
Johnny Dumfries, on the other hand, is Scottish.

Yes, unless he does somehting daft like start up his own team/ gets advised by his friend and manager that he is bigger then the sport and that he should go to a new team

Well, based on the comments in the press attributed to Webber, Vettel and Button (amongst others presumably) are you sure you can 'leave it to the drivers' (to paraphrase)?
