Am I the only one that is loving this season?
I am as appalled as the next man about the farcical nature of what has been going on recently however I have got so much out of this year. I'm a pretty dedicated F1 fan however I have learnt so much about Mosley, the FIA, the inner working of Ferrari/McCl etc. Never have I seen so many column inches in newspapers/forums/magazines. People debate Hamilton and Alsoandso in the pub like they would Chelsea V Arsenal. I even had a conversation with my wife last night about the latest shambles over LH possibly being penalised. It may be for the wrong reasons but people who would not normally have any interest in the sport now have an opinion (they may not be valid but that is the same with any sport).
This is great, I have immersed myself everyday into these threads and enjoyed the passion which everyone has in slagging off the FIA, defending their team, digging dirt on MM etc.
Last weekend, I got up at 5.30, I then re-watched it at 11.30, I then got onto the website, because there is so much good and bad to talk about. Its great!

actually that's a good idea...perhaps Max & Bernie ought to take lessons from GMTV and Blue Peter in running a phone votes - let's not bother with the on-track stuff we could just have phone voting - with all the proceeds going to....Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
