just saw on the bbbc sports page that Norik Abe has died after a collision with a truck in Japan.

I've edited the title because "Nitro Nori" is more commonly referred to in relation to Noriyuki Haga and it would be very miss-leading for people to think that Haga had passed away as well.

Abe was a legend, no doubt his spirit will be missed by those close to him. For a rider without the typical success he was so respected.
