Not being a tecchie, anybody have an insight on how Lewis' engine can be shutdown for 40 seconds?

Gearbox issue, software put it in default mode and selected neutral. I'd expect it's a safety system to stop the box lunching itself while it runs a few checks.

I think it was a built in 'feature' that they were supposed to put on Alonso's car.

Bla bla bla. They said they had the gearbox open in parc ferme as they suspected something.

I know the conspiracy boys are going to have a field day but it's extremely far fetched.
