I went to Paris last time MS was there and it was a great event, I think the UK is a little pricey but if you have free tickets then go for it.

Got anymore :-)

Pricey for sure. £180 for pit pass - Each! That's a couple of days skiing, so quite unlikely to make it.

I am going with a group, paid only £60 for a seat a good bit worse than the £30ish seats I got in Paris a few years ago. London is cheaper to get to than Paris so swings and roundabouts I suppose

I've been thinking of going - could be a laugh, it's local since I'm only a 20min train ride away from Wembley...but the cost of the tickets is putting me off a bit. Last time I checked it was £75 for decent seats.

However, it's still cheaper than a ticket to the British Grand Prix, the venue is decidedly tidier than Silverstone and it pleases me greatly to tell all the football-loving people in my office that the RoC organisers are sticking a load of tarmac over their precious hallowed turf!

So, in conclusion, I'm not actually sure why I haven't yet bought a ticket. Hmm.

(Yes, I know they don't actually tarmac over the turf directly, but it winds football people up so much more if you tell them their sacred grass is going to be ruined...and that amuses me. Is that wrong?)

Yup price of seats were ridiculous so me/dad/bro decided not to go. A shame as it would have been good, but couldn't justify it.

don't they rip up and replace the turf fairly regulary ?
btw if anyone ever goes there for a gig - do not go for the standing or floor option - you can see bugger all - really poorly thought out - instead of stepping up the floor the further you go back - it's dead level you can't see squat - better off taking a seat in the stands
