Marvellous. Now, just need to get rid of those hideous shelves all over the front wing and side pods..

saw that photo on autosport.com and smiled.. it's great. Strange how such a small change makes them look like a "proper" racing car again.

It's amazing how much better the cars look, just by getting rid of those stupid grooves.

Is F1 going back to slicks? Did I miss something?

Hope they are! slicks = racing smile

And yeah, aero aids have gotten silly.

Some of us want to see racing. The wing surface area needs to be halved at least. I'd introduce a rule that says; one wing surface area only and one wing and the front and rear. And that's your lot.

Aaaaace! I'd heard it speculated but did not know it was a sealed deal!
Too much aero has been a big factor in the dullness of F1, more tyre grip and less aero would mean same lap times but closer racing.

It's not a sealed deal yet, still just a proposal.

I'm glad I'm not the only one on cloud9 at the sight of a slick shod modern day f1 car!

And when they reduce the wings a bit it might be as interesting to watch as these were..
