Was one of the guys driving the car home at the end, or was it a different car? I've no idea what the car was, just red with a big white stripe over the top paperbag

What they didn't show was the Porsche Club stuff, the Classic F1 cars and the Group C/GTP racers cloud9

The Silverstone Classic is one of the best weekends of the year along with the Oulton Park Gold Cup. If you've never been, give it a try.

I think it's a series about the "Gentlemen Drivers" races as there was an earlier one about the Portugal race.

It is indeed.

I was just pointing out what else was to be seen that weekend. I had a great time watching & pointing the camera at some lovely old lumps of metal smile

I think that belonged to the father of the young guy driving the Corvette. It was a Ferrari, but I don't know the model.

Yes it's a replica built on a Ferrari chassis by the 'Dad" Neil Twyman, he's a very talented engineer and restorer. He did the body for the yellow TR raced by the Brazilian.
Auto Italia featured it a few years back.
Whilst I like the laid back approach to this new GT Racer programme I think there are nore interesting cars on the grid did you see that Abarth at Silverstone?

There are lots of other interesting cars on the grid there but I think you will find that the programme concentrates on a couple of different cars at each race.

i have to admit i found the whole programme a bit soul-less.... a bunch of rich blokes who turn up, after their staff have prepped the cars. i know this is normal in more modern racing, but i expected a bit more feeling towards the heritage on display.
