As you seem to be trying to appeal to petrolheads with your WRC coverage, constant Top Gear and Clarkson repeats etc, please could you aquire the rights to all Grand Prix coverage from 30 years ago on an ongoing basis and show a race each F1 race weekend, timed to finish just before the current season's F1 coverage starts.

Thanks.

I think that presenter is in dire need of a co-presenter. I watched Bob Reid comment on the Rally Isle of Man 2007. He stood in for Robbie Head. I must say that Bob was good. As co-driver to Richard Burns he obviously knows a lot about the WRC.

I thought todays WRC show was very good, although didn;t see it all.

Hoowever if they could do a show like todays on weekends when there is no WRC that would be good, and if the show when there is a rally could concentrate on coverage of the rally that would be even better.

It was still very lame. The first half being a repeat of the first two programs i.e a Wilson family benefit.
Now don't get me wrong without the Malcolm Wilsons of the world we'd have no rallying at all.
Neil Cole needs replacing for sure.
On a tangent here, did I hear that the fastest stage in Finland is not being used!
Because it is dangerous! It's rallying not FIA Tiddlywinks!
Looking forward to Eurosport's WRC coverage, Dave's not worth the effort.

Ouninpohja. They tried splitting it in two a couple of years back and the average speed in the 2 stages was still too high (very close to the FIA limit, if not over it) so the organisers put it back together again and added a load of temporary chicanes. It was still really fast and so its been binned this year.

Markko Martin and Beef hold the record for 'the big one' at 57 metres at 170kmh. cool

thats what i was thinking last night, get both Robbie Head and Rob Reid in to do the coverage, and why not get the coverage of the BRC too. there is lots of room for improvement, and i'm sure it will with time.

The ESPN Classic channel often shows 1980's F1 races.

Yeah I love that thing.. I was a bit shocked to see a middle-aged woman driving an old Aston though.

So is, Dave's WRC only gonna show FORD?

I've watched two programmes now, and both heavily featured the FORD WRC team.......

Why?

That is John and Jll Goldsmith, Aston preparers. Jill is a very quick and experienced driver, faster that John. I'm sure they will be out in a different Aston next year.
