In the article on autosport.com about Nigel Stepney facing FIA punishment there is a mention that the FIA are considering issuing licences to F1 team personnel... so they can ban them if they break FIA rules.

Presumably these rules won't include criticism of the FIA?

I hope this doesn't turn into a football style situation whereby criticism of the governing body = bringing the sport into disrepute.

Surely if the head of the FIA (Mad Max to his friends) can publicly criticize one of the all time greats of F1 as an idiot (his ref to JS) then we can all point our fingers at Mad Max and call him a Narcotic Arrogant Zenophobic Idiot can't we?

I understand it is pretty much licensed as it stands, I believe that if a truckie/mechanic etc misplaces his FIA access pass he is effectively out for the season! No replacements.
