This year is looking like it will be mega in the FIA GT as Larbre Competition are returning with a Saleen S7R, PK are moving from their C5R Corvette to a Saleen S7R the ex Zakspeed car. Carsport are adding a second C6R to their team and I know of at least one more C6R that will be competing for an existing team (press release some time within the next couple of weeks to follow).

Me neither. It's one of my 'don't miss' events of the season and has been for years. The series has been getting stronger and stronger recently and, as you say, this season should be a corker. Last year's weekend at Silverstone was, what with the superb GT3 races and the fledgling GT4s too.
Is the Murcielago still racing this season? That was a fantastic car to watch and listen too.
I'll definitely be there in April!

SRT have announced their C6R will compete in FIA GT and FFSA GT also their C5R will continue in the Citation Cup as part of the FIA GT so even more Corvettes to watch! By my counting there are the following:
Phoenix Carsport 2 x C6R

PSI Experience 1 x C6R and 1 x C5R
SRT 1 x C6R and 1 x C6R
AT Racing 1 x C5R
Peka Racing 1 x C5R

Hi there,
I'll be at Silverstone for the FIA GT event, going along for the practice day on Friday 18th and then again for the FIA GT main race on the Sunday.
Have sent in my application for a media pass, and this was the reply I got: -
"Thank you for your request for accreditation for Silverstone, which I am happy to accept.
The formal letter of confirmation will be sent approximately one week before the race"
Really looking forward to this event and all being well should have my new camera as well by then.
Regards
Tim

There is a Supercar Paddock so if you want infield parking you need to speak to someone at the circuit beforehand to pre-book.Hi autofocus, I got my accreditation paperwork through via email last night.
