Of the new racers in the series how many of you are planning to debut at Cadwell and how many at Snetterton? I'm not too fussed about Cadwell as my first race but really want to be at Snetterton having never done it with anything more than about 150hp! So who's out at Cadwell and who's out at Snett ?

I will be out at Cadwell unless i have any nightmares.

It looks like it may be a quiet one so seems ideal for the first one. Although i have never driven at Cadwell.....

It was a while ago now but cadwell was my first ever race!!! qualified 9th out of 18 tasmins.

All was fine untill I realized I'd never tried a start before yikes that was a bit of a worry!!

right in the middle of the pack, on a narrow circuit...

Cadwell is fine for your first race, yes its a little narrow, and the run off isnt huge, but for your first race you should be concentrating on enjoying it and getting to the finish rather than going all out for glory...

Also some of the faster Class A cars are giving it a miss, so its a good chance to get out on track before the big boys ( big girls blouses more likley:hehe) come out to play at snetterton...

There is also a chance by getting out at the first round you can bag some good points and get a legup in the championship

Cheers

I'm not going to be there till Snetterton. as just not going to get the car finished in time.

a small part of me wished I bought a complete car. would have been cheaper. plus would be there for the 1st race.

but part of the fun is in the building.

mickey should be hopeing for big things this year johnny.

lets see how the new guys turn out. some serious track times been had by the taz boys (keef/tim) and jon simpson is no slouch.

should be great all round.
we should be OK for Badsmell park!

BTW my first race was Pembrey...the wettest race in memory.
I came 2nd and 1st (of two) and went off once.
Also led the race outright and overtook 2 GTFs and a Tuscan or two in front of both my sponsors!

What a weekend that was! biggrin

If any of you new guys have a question or are worried about something or where you should be or what you should do, dont hesitate to ask one of the others, of search me out and we'll go through it..

Also there will be a compulsory TVR Drivers Brief before qualifying. Not sure where or when yet until we get the meeting timetable from the brscc

cheers

Have you detuned it for this season then Kev? You only have 1 fan at Snetterton cos I'm taking you're landlady out for lunch. Sorry.
