Looking at some test days, most circuits have a 105db max.
Is this 105db static at 3/4 revs.?

How does a 997 Cup car measure up, will I need end cans for testing?

Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob

Usually that would be drive by, so 98 static.

Probably yes. GTs run to 114 (if I remember correctly from last year). We have a seperate exhaust system that we use on the viper for quiet days (105).

There are also "noisy" days at Silverstone and Donington (plus probably others) where you won't have a problem.

have lots of noisy days and a few un-resricted, quite a few race teams use them as a cheap test day

that's not strictly true, our 996 with supercup exhaust got stopped from running only a few weeks back at silverstone on a goldtrack noisy day and that was 113db, the circuit's boring brigade are still present!
