Olympus cameras have moved their sponsership from the red cars to Macs,Lets hope they do not get accused of bringing any thing else with them.
Ferrari were upset enough when they lost Vodaphone,

Why don't they use the word "sponsor" anymore?

'Sponsor' suggests a one directional arrangement. 'Partner' suggests you are both getting something out of the deal. Therefore better to form partnerships than look for sponsorship.

I think they did when Damin Hill had the "0" number- 1994???

Now, if only Mclaren could get JPS as well as Oyympus, they could paint their cars black and gold. Yum...

Vodaphone must be pleased with the exposure they got in 2007.

How would Olympus be able to "partner" McLaren?

Are they involved in technology that is useful to an F1 team?

Just wondering really as they have "spnsored" (in the old fashioned way) F1 teams in days gone by - Lotus and Wolf spring to mind in the late 1970s.

Canon were on Damon's 0 car in 1993. In 1994 they didnt have Canon or Olympus on the car, Segafredo and Rothmans were the main sponsors in that season.
