Bernie, give up

I can't stand the sour-faced little cash stock-piler

Its a world championship, for god's sake, I think fans appreciate the fact that it takes place in different time zones and actually quite enjoy having to make an effort to catch races like Australia live. Or, perhaps Bernie is so rich he has never heard of things called VIDEO RECORDERS or DVD RECORDERS? Or indeed the fact that unsociable hours races are always repeated in their entirety mid-afternoon anyway.
I wonder if this is really about european viewing convenience, or perhaps it is all about £££££££££££££?

Even funnier is that with all this new technology in recording, no one watches the adverts anyway.
I for one watched the pre-reace warm up, then as they all lined up for the warm up lap, I hit pause on the Sky box, went and made some food and grabbed a beer, outside for a quick fag, then press play.
Anytime there was an add break I'd already got enough race recorded to zip right through at x30.
We don't bother watching anything 'live' on the TV in our house anymore - there's just no point when you can queue up a program by 15 minutes and skip all the adds. We're jusr longing for a button on the remote that automatically jumps forward to the start of the program so that we don't even have to see the ads at full fast forward.

What is hypocritical is that Bernie has been harping on that the future lies in the East and that Europe does not matter, now he is telling the Eastern races they must take place as late as possible for the European audiences. He is just a mischief maker, and the sooner a few tracks tell him where to go the better.

What was Bernie's excuse to not attend in Australia.Perhaps he wants the times to suit himself so as not to have to attend these distant races
He probably went into hiding after his daughter's presenting efforts on ITV.Good on the Aussies for standing up to the midget.
