I've already booked my tickets for the British Grand Prix in July, but was thinking of going to an international race, most likely Europe. Was just looking for some advice on wheres good and what sort of money anyone has paid in the last few years. Mainly been looking at the European (Valencia) or Belgium grand prixs. Never been abroad myself yet so that doesn't make it any easier for me to decide.

Belgium - popped my GP cherry there and it was definitely the right choice. If nothing else, it's worth it just to see Eau Rouge close up.

Monaco - the best GP of the season - has been since the stoneage wink
Actually valencia might be good for the same reason - but Monaco is something very special - walk the circuit - you're bound to bump into drivers - it's the best - been 6 times and going again this year

Isn't Monaco a tad on the pricey side? Love to go but always put off by the probable cost of a decent view...

stay outside of Monaco - train it in, in the morning
Tickets are probably cheaper than Silverstone wink
or buy a ticket for a balcony.

I'm a big fan of monaco - it's more like a street carnival.

Thanks for all that, i've been looking at Monaco closely just bit concerend about accomadation. But i'd probably double it up as a bit of a holiday. I've been told page and moy have the package so you stay on a yacht on the harbour. I've been looking at the tickets for spa and eau rouge covered grandstand is sold out, and uncovereds risky at spa. I may try and do Monaco next year will have to see.
