I've got April's PPC and can't find any Tuscan Challenge stuff , although there's a short piece about fitting a Chevy to a Tuscan Sp6.

Could it be another mag like Track and Race cars ?

The article came about because I'd been dealing with PPC mag for sometime and sent them a calendar for xmas. They liked the calendar so much that they contacted me to find out more about the race series and said they'ed like to do a feature on the series from an overall perspective for motorsport fans and existing/future racers.

I have sent them various hi-res shots from last year and put them in touch with a few drivers for info. I got an email yesterday to say thanks and that the contacts were very helpful.

Mags never disclose the contents of their features prior to publishing, so I'll have to wait and see what the article is like when it goes on sale.

Us Pro photographers can be very useful wink

Its out now, the one where the front cover shows them putting a saab engine in an escort.

Quite a positve article. With a few words from Cliff jobson to finish it off!

Hi Dan,

How's the old Taz coming on? Still planning on the Lexus V8 or are you thinking about joining us? Be great to see the old girl out on track again. I miss that car.

Alright cliff

Yeah its coming along, although i've already lost a bet i made about having it done for the end of april!
Should hopefully be getting an engine this weekend and will fit it next month (when/if i've got time after moving house).
I've knocked the V8 on the head, mainly to save my budget and time, so It looks like it'll be a ford v6.
I still plan using it for sprints/hillclimbs, but it would be perfect for class C scratchchin
I'll have to see how things turn out!

Good luck with it Dan. I reckon something like a cossy 24V would suit the car nicely. Definitely a contender in class C should you get bored of sprinting laugh
