Hi guys, my deadline is approaching so it is now time for me to start killing all of the grey areas of my report. Please excuse some of my questions as I am sure they are bound to sound silly. Also, please note that I started this report on 2007 regulations (starting at Brands Hatch in August, and stopping at the Brands Hatch night race with the provisional 2008 regulations).

a) I am having trouble get accurate details on the EERC and Britcar history. The about us page on the site is no longer there.
- Was the EERC formed in 1994? Was it formed with the sole purpose of ultimately creating a 24hr race after the dismiss of the Willhire 24? Or was that a secondary reason?
- If so when did the first Brticar race take place? Was it always a championship or was just a series of events, and when has it became a championship?

b) Linked to Brticar is Britsports and Production S1. Is it possible for certain Britcar competitors to also take part in Production S1? (If I am not mistaken this did happen at one of the races I visited).

c) In 2007 the regulated classes where GT3, GT Cup, Class1 and Class2. Has this simple been renamed to classes 1 to 4 for 2008? Also related, how do classes distinguish? Is it purely this power-to-weight (which if not mistaken is now weight-to-power)? (Any info on the classes would help as I am not accustomed to racing formulae with multiple classes).

d) Other then the mandatory technical details. How flexible in terms of car setup and engineering tricks would you say Britcar allows?

e) I know at Britcar 24 you have to used the supply fuel (I am sure since I was fuelling marshal :P) at the championship/series events, is it any fuel goes?

You can write replies or send me an past documents you have such as old regs, pr releases, etc at nadir.syedsammut@live.uwe.ac.uk, any help is appreciated. Thanks guys. Oh, can someone send me Steve Wood's e-mail I seem to have lost it and was relying on him for most of the official type info.

You're probably best approaching either Claire or Steve at Britcar HQ. They're both members of PH and you can PM them through their profiles.
