I used to enjoy watching David Leslie racing in the BTCC. Very sad loss, especially in light of Colin McRae not so long ago.

Just heard this myself. Absolutely gutted. used to love Leslie's racing in the old Ecurie Ecosse Cavalier and then the Nissans. Sad sad loss. RIP

Another tragedy hits the close motorsport community.

Stood next to and spoke briefly to David Leslie at a recent motorsport event, really nice guy.

Can't believe it.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Remember David being the first person to congratulate you when you won the night race. Real terrible shame

Having spoken to David a few times in the pit lane, he always made time and supported the job done by Marshals. He will be missed.

A couple of times I bumped into him on the bank watching, and he made time to talk to me, he was David Leslie, Racer, Commentator, Enthusiast. One of Lifes True Gents.

He and Richard will be missed. My thoughts go to All the families affected by todays tragedy.
