BTCC at Brands MUD BATH!
Discussion
It's not only Brands where the car-parks become a swamp after a bit of rain.
Most of the other UK circuits are more than happy to dump you in a field and at some you even get to wade through sheep sh*t as an additional no-cost option.
Silverstone has its faults, but the car parks are better than most other circuits for the majority of race meetings there.

Silverstone spent a fortune on their car parks a few years ago after that occasion when the Grand Prix was moved to April or something and strangely the car park became a mud bath.
I went to the Easter BTCC meeting at Thruxton one year, the weather was dreadful and the car parks were turning to mud baths as we drove in. However by the time we came to leave they had put straw everywhere and this bound the mud together and we were straight out.

I got there at 8 am and could not belive what i was seeing flooded car parks and they were still trying to get poeple to park around the standing water luckly i managed to get parked on the edge of one of the carparks but even so me car was still covered in mud the only plus is we had an amazing trip back home to wiltshire, for change there was very little traffic on the M25 compared to what its normally like so we were back home in just over 2hrs that made up for a dirty car

Hi All
Anybody went to Brands Hatch at the weekend in the Mud! Is it me but do you reckcon the owner of these tracks could spend a little money on the car parks Even the road into Brands was a mud track Any thoughts on this!
I got in and out ok, but, my Astra looks like I`ve been off road with it. Inside`s muddy too Anybody went to Brands Hatch at the weekend in the Mud! Just as well I didn`t go in the porker.
Yep - I got stuck! - having laughed at others who were stuck, making comments about how they didn't know how to drive on wet grass!!! Don't really know what they can do other than to tarmac every field. Have to say that the MSV guys with the Land Rover did a sterling job and we were unstuck and out within 15 mins!
