F1 is boring !!!
Discussion
seriously!
I realised that by going to worldsbk.com you can watch the world superbikes live, and as I don't have sky I had the choice for the first time ever, of watching F1 or world superbikes.
I think I made the right choice of picking world superbikes over F1.
MotoGP and F1 don't usually take place on the same weekend, but if they do I will always choose MotoGP because it's about a million times more fun to watch. Now don't get me wrong, I love just about all forms of motorsport so i do watch F1, but compared to bike racing it is very boring, and this is coming from someone who can't even ride a motorbike.
The overtaking and how close the racing is in world superbikes is amazing to watch, and from what i've seen so far this season it has been a lot more exciting than MotoGP, let alone F1.
Not quite sure what the point of this thread was apart from,
F1: Fail
World Superbikes: Win!

I'm getting realy really rally annoyed with this whinging about F1. I realised that by going to worldsbk.com you can watch the world superbikes live, and as I don't have sky I had the choice for the first time ever, of watching F1 or world superbikes.

1) How many more times must i post this: IT IS BEING SORTED OUT! THEY WILL BE ABLE TO RACE EACH OTHER PROPERLY IN 2009 SO SHUT UP AND WAIT!
2) Barcalona is a boring track and everyone knows it. Have you been under a rock for the last 10 years? Its got long fast corners which cause the cars to get strung out. And they test there incessantly so they know the place inside out.

I could start a thread about how boring Motogp is, but what would be the point?
There would be no point because you'd be talking absolute b
ks. I challenge anyone to tell me why the racing in F1 is anymore exciting than all the boring background drama that comes along with it...
It's a complete waste of time watching it, the only overtaking happens when someone is getting a new set of tyres and if someone does dare try it during a race they end up snapping someones front wing off.
The best thing to do is check the qualfying results on saturday afternoon and whoever is pole is your winner, that frees up a good few hours on a sunday waiting to find out the inevitable.

I'll believe it when i see it!Like I said, I do watch it (feck knows why), so it really does make me laugh when people think this is the 'pinnacle of motorsport' when you get more excitment form watching paint dry!

nice easy solution for you then...I realised that by going to worldsbk.com you can watch the world superbikes live, and as I don't have sky I had the choice for the first time ever, of watching F1 or world superbikes.

There would be no point because you'd be talking absolute b
ks. I've seen two or three MotoGP races and a couple of Superbike events and it does very little for me. Watching the SBK at Brands live is good but I'd rather watch a car race.
What really amazes me is when someone starts a negative thread, they get all defensive when someone doesn't agree with them. If you can't accept that some people may not agree with you, grow up before posting again.
all motorsport has its good and bad points but for current entertainment value nothing comes close to world superbike/supersport and motogp
today in the supersport race at assen there were 10, yes 10 riders all within a second and all chopping and changing every corner.
there was more passing in 1 lap of that race than there has been in f1 all season, hopefully the 09 rules will remedy this but im not holding any hope (yet)
and a bit of food for thought for all those that think were all fools.
the legend that is murray walker recently described motorcycle racing as the best sport in the world and said that the riders make f1 drivers look like wimps, nuff said.
