Anyone been to Monza??

Heading over to Monza next weekend for the FIA GT/British F3 meeting. Can anybody tell me how easy it is driving in there and is there plenty of parking? Also any good spectating points would be appreciated.

I did a couple of laps of the circuit in the dark last November in a Mini!

Fantastic circuit, big parking area behind the pits but dunno whether this will be public parking for the event. The circuit is in a large park, are you flying and driving from the airport? or driving from UK?

Not having been there to spectate for a race so don't know where is best.

Talk to PHer Luca Brazzi. He and another PHer, Jenx, are pro photographers and are going over to shoot the race...I know for a fact that Luca Brazzi went last year.

Milan - Linate is much closer to the track than Milan Malpensa, but it depends on the airline and timings as to which airport you choose. Jenx and myself are flying out of Heathrow on Friday morning.

Lots of great spots for viewing the racing. Loads of parking inside the park.
It can get VERY hot there, and the GT1 cars are painfully loud up close. Looking forward to it. Email me if you want a phone number, and perhaps we can mee up when there for a cornetto
