I'm off to Whilton Mill tonight to do a 2 hour endurance race on their main track. I've never been there before so any top tips?

Yeah don't crash & you will be fine.

It's not a bad track.

Don't go off at Turn 1.

Great track. I did the 24-hour there a couple of years ago, but haven't raced there since the extension was built.

Get the last corner right, you'll carry any speed you have for the next third of the lap.

You have to brake surprisingly early for the first corner of the new section - it's quite downhill and tighter than it looks.

Conversely, you can brake ridiculously late for 'Christmas' corner at the end of the straight/top of the hill.

Get it wrong and it could end in tears..

I tried to take the last corner flat on a test day, recently.. and ended up rolling the kart!
Fortunately just ended up with some spinal compression, which has since healed.
