Croft for btcc
Discussion
I watched the btcc this year when it was at brands, used to follow each race religiously in the late 90's but I think it died a death when all the manufactures moved out.
How has the racing been so far this season. Has it got any better? Is it worth watching or will I just be left there thinking id be better trying to find my copy of tocca for the playstation and playing that instead?

Went a couple of times when I lived just 5 miles along the road from Croft. I reckon it's a great spectating circuit, loads of raised banking. I remember one meet when someone had VIP'd in using a Squirrel helicopter that was parked just outside the barrier at the end of a straight. Cue large coming together of cars under braking and one high-energy lost wheel which hit the tyre wall at Warp 9, got airborne and prescribed a beautiful ballistic arc straight into the side of said helicopter, which didn't fare very well in the argument.
That helicopter belonged to Dave Richards of Prodrive. What made it even worse is he was supposed to be lending it to Bernie Eccelstone the next day. The wheel came off Gary Paffetts formula vauxhall, just missing a friend of mine before hitting the chopper then ending up in the windscreen of a new vectra.

If they're the little black flies our valeters are trying to remove from the fronts of all our cars from Thursday then no, they've not got their dates mixed up, the cars are covered.
